Who are the Crimson Blades? We are a small, tightly knit band of heroes and adventurers. Friends and family. Warlocks and Paladins. Accepted and Outcasts. People that have lost everything in the struggle of life have a place to call home, no matter their race, their background, their creed.
We strive to be the help that Stormwind and Azeroth need in a time of desperation. Famine, wars, the second rise of the Defias, dragons...
We are friends.
We are family.
We are the Crimson Blades.
Our name is perhaps a bit deceiving these days. We started some years prior ((2010)) with the intent of protecting the forests of Elwynn from the Defias incursion from Westfall. Since the great Cataclysm, we have shifted to becoming a home for those without, a place for people to find sanctuary on neutral ground. We are not a band of mercenaries, although that is not to say there are none among us. We are a group of people who have gathered, finding strength in each other and home and family in each other.
((OOCly, we are a bunch of insane individuals who are here to have fun. For many of us, this is our escape from the everyday. Our members range from late teens to middle-aged and are scattered all over the US, Canada and even Australia. We are a quirky bunch and if you're a little off-beat yourself, you may find yourself a new home with us.))
In order to function well as a guild, it is important that our membership is active on a regular basis. If you will be gone for an extended period of time, please notify the leadership and we will make sure you are not removed from the guild due to inactivity while you are gone.
If the leadership is not notified of your absence, you will be removed from the guild after a certain length of absence. The amount of time before you are removed will vary depending on rank. Re-admittance of members who disappear (without notifying guild leadership ahead of time) will be granted on a case by case basis.
A new recruit that does not complete their trial will be removed. Keepers missing for a month will be placed on hiatus until their return or the Guardians decide they are to be removed.
We know how life goes. All absence removals are on a case by case basis. If you're going to be gone for a long period of time, please notify Adrazel or Reuz. You will be moved to Hiatus Status until your return.
We like to treat every character that comes to our door as a different person. However, members with characters currently in the guild may join as an Underling before applying with an alt. Once the application is submitted, the new character will receive a brief interview before full guild privileges are given.
With great members comes great things. However, this also means that as we grow and evolve as a guild, certain things that should go unsaid...well, must be said.
This includes, but is certainly not limited to --
Be nice to your fellow guild members. Sometimes we'll rip on each other, ICly and OOCly. Please be careful in doing this OOCly, to know whom you are teasing. If it becomes anything more than teasing, the officers and leaders will take action.
Take others into account. Conflict is part of RP. But please keep your conflict within reason. Randomly picking fights with people and always being the center of drama will cause issues to arise. We've worked very hard to keep a good name within the Cenarion Circle community. Excessive conflict and drama may cause you to be asked to tone things down or leave the guild. Please also take into account that people may be working on plots of their own. If you have a large plot, please post in the forums and let us know. You never know what others might be planning and at best, you may be able to get other people involved in your own plots.
Please keep OOC drama to a minimum. It happens. We know. We've all be guilty of it and we've all put up with it. Please try to do your best to keep it to a dull roar at the most. We are friends here. We would like to stay that way.
Please let us know of IC drama. Anything that is going to involve a large portion of the guild, please let the Guardians or Honor Guard know what you're planning OOCly. This is not so we have control over it, but moreso that we can be prepared for what it entails to have large guild plots. It takes a lot of coordination and we want everyone to have an equal chance at having their plots have the spotlight. Just message Adrazel or an officer and let us know what you're up to.
Give and Take. The stuff in the guild bank is there for the guild members. Please feel free to use it accordingly. However, we also ask that if you have some materials, goods, various bits and pieces that another might find useful, please feel free to share it with your guild members and put them in the appropriate tab. (Adrazel and Tremia are neurotic about the bank. Please try not to mess it up too much. :D)
Let it never go without saying.... Iziktom is an idiot. Remember this. It is important.
OOC Channel Our Out Of Character channel is guild only. Upon entry into the guild, you will be giving the name of the channel. Alts are welcome, but please be sure to let someone know who you are if asked. (We've had trouble in the past. The officers are a bit crazy about it now. We apologize in advanced if you're asked multiple times by different officers, but we're trying to keep the dramallamas at bay.)
